At its heart, expansion isn’t about getting a specific outcome (although you can),
or having something “better” than what you have now (although you will).
The world around you could be 100x more exquisite than it is now, and your life will
still
look
the
same
— unless you change.
And if you do change, nothing else needs to for you to have an exquisite life.
Expansion is an inside job.
What’s “out there” can’t beat down the door to your awareness.
You have to open the door.
You have to invite it in.
Let’s take an example: say you’re utterly sick of cold weather and you want to fly to, say, Bali. (Who doesn’t, right?)
There are dozens of flights to Bali every day, on multiple carriers, at varying prices,
with different badge allowances and flight times and layovers, etc.
And Bali is full of hotels, hostels, home shares, taxis, bikes, boats, adventures,
photo ops, culinary treasures, and thousands of lovely humans.
Everything you could need for the experience of your choice is available.
But none of that matters if you don’t book a flight, reserve a hotel room, and get to the airport.
YOU are the one who has to see what’s possible; YOU have to align with the outcome.
(That’s a coachy way of saying you have to do the effing things.)
And until you even KNOW Bali is out there
— til you know it’s gorgeous and warm and tropical —
— that people love going to Bali —
— that you’re allowed to be one of them —
— you’ll never leave your house.
Expansion = learning about Bali. It’s as simple as that.
Wildly Unrealistic is where we expand your vision of what’s out there.
